The research group of Professor Nam-Trung Nguyen (NTNLab) is dedicated to the development of micro/nano technologies and their applications in micro/nanofluidics. By applying our enabling technologies, devices are fabricated for fundamental investigation of fluidic phenomena in the micro/nanoscale such as convective/diffusive mixing, multiphase systems, viscoelasticity, fluid/structural interaction, optofluidic and magnetofluidic interactions. The knowledge from the fundamental research results in many functional and practical components for sample preparation and detection in various handheld or desktop-based lab-on-a-chip and point-of-care platforms.
